PLEASE NOTE: The NTS Doors will remain locked at all times when students are in the building.

FALL CLASSES / REHEARSALS will begin on Monday, August 12th and run through Thursday, December 19th
(EXCEPT Legally Blonde, Jr. Auditions for LB will start Wed August 14th and will run through the February Performance)
Jungle Book and Lion King will conclude with their performance dates and / or cast party.

NTS will be closed for the following holidays:
Sunday, September 1st and Monday, September 2nd - Labor Day
Wednesday, October 16th - Sunday, October 20th - Fall Break
Thursday, October 31st - HALLOWEEN
November 25th - December 1st - Thanksgiving Break
December 23rd - Winter Break Begins


FALL REGISTRATION:
You will be required to pay your first month’s tuition at the time of registration, opening June 1st at 10AM.
There is a $35 registration fee per family.

Cancellation Policy:  If you need to cancel your registration for a production, you may do so with 30 days notice, until October 1st.  After October 1st, you will be required to finish payment for the semester.
All classes and productions require a 30 day notice for cancellation.

CLASS OFFERINGS

1) Preschool Division
Musical Theatre for Preschoolers (Ages 4-5)
Tuition: $60 / Month
This 45 minute class meets on Thursdays from 3-3:45PM and is taught by Miss Olivia.  The class is a great introduction into music, musical theatre and creative play.

2) NTS Academy Division (Jungle Book, Kids, The Lion King, Kids)

Jungle Book, Kids
Ages 5-7 / New Students
Tuition: $135 / month (August - December)
There are 2 casts to choose from:
Monday 4-5:30PM Rehearsal 
Tuesday 4-5:30PM Rehearsal

All performances will take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at the LMG Black Box Theatre at NTS

Auditions for Jungle Book, Kids will take place during their rehearsal time during the 2nd week of rehearsal.  These auditions are optional and on a very basic level, we meet the kids where they are. 

The Lion King, Kids
Ages 7-13 / Returning Students or New Students over the age of 7
Tuition: $145 / month (August - December)

There are 3 casts to choose from
Tuesday Cast 5:45-7:15PM
Wednesday Cast 4:30-6PM
Thursday Cast 4-5:30PM

Optional Auditions for Finding Nemo, Kids will be held during their rehearsal time in the second week of rehearsal.  The material for their audition will be on the Lion King, Kids page on this website.
Performances for Lion King, Kids will take place at Julia Green Elementary, performances will take place in late November / early December and will be announced mid-Summer.

4) Mainstage Production / Legally Blonde, Jr
Ages 11-18
Tuition: $225 / Month (August. - February)

We will present our Mainstage Musical, Legally Blonde, Jr at the brand new Franklin Special School District Performing Arts Center (very close to Williamson County Performing Arts Center).   While it is not required, it is highly encouraged that all PC/HSA members participate in the mainstage musical.

REHERASALS:
Mondays 5:45-8:15PM (beginning Monday, August 19th)
Wednesday 6-8PM (Called as Needed)
Our goal is that not everyone will be called on Wednesdays, we will work through the script and try to focus on scenework and smaller numbers on Wednesday evenings.

MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCE DATES:
Thursday, January 30th 7PM
Friday, January 31st 7PM
Saturday, February 1st  2 & 7PM

AUDITIONS: 
Wednesday, August 14th, Friday, August 16th and Saturday August 17th (Call backs the afternoon of the August 17th)

Mainstage Rehearsal Schedule:
*Until we determine the musical and the casting, it is hard to know if we will need everyone on both Monday and Wednesday at this point.  You will have an opportunity to turn in conflicts at the audition.

*Please note that all dress rehearsals and performances are MANDATORY.* 
Students MUST be available for all called tech and dress rehearsals.

5) DANCE CLASSES
It is recommended that students who plan on progressing to the Mainstage Musical or Performing Company take a dance class to prepare for the next level of technique and choreography.

Class placement: If you are a current NTS Dance Student, Miss Emily will contact you with your dance placement for the ‘24-’25 season. Dance placements are FLUID and can change at the semester mark based on progress. If a student is on the cusp of a level, we will place them in the lower level and invite them to enrich in the higher level (at no additional cost) as they prepare to move up.
If you are NEW NTS Dance students, please register for the class that best fits your ballet technique experience and we will make assessments the first week of classes. You should base your ballet technique experience on current and consecutive years. 2 years of ballet at the age of 4 for an 11 year old should not be considered. Please email with any questions!

Tuesday 7:15-8:30PM - Advanced / Pre Pro Dance (By Invitation or Director Approval Only) - THIS IS A CHANGE!
If you are placed in the Adv / Pre Pro Class, but cannot on attend on Tuesdays, you may attend the Thursday Int / Adv Class.
Tuition: $80 / month

Thursday 5:30-6:30PM - NTS Dance Fundamentals
This class is for students with less than 2 years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $70 / month

Thursday 6:30-7:30PM - NTS Intermediate Dance
This class is for students with more than 2 years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $70 / month

Thursday 7:30-8:45PM - NTS Int / Adv Dance
This class is for students with 3 or more years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $80 / month

5) SPRING SEMESTER ONLY Academy Apprentice Program
Ages 11 and Up (with previous experience and Director approval)
Tuition: $500 for 11 Weeks (Feb - May)
This class will be limited to 20 selected students.
If we have an overwhelming number of students that are interested, we will hold auditions.

Wednesday 6-8PM
This is a new, trial program for students ages 11 and up with previous NTS experience. This program is designed for students who are committed and interested in moving up with NTS to a Mainstage Production or the Performing Company. We will meet on Wednesdays from 6-8PM for 11 weeks beginning Wednesday February 21st and concluding on Wednesday May 8th, with a Final Showcase Performance in the LMG Black Box Theatre at NTS.

Each class will begin with 30 minutes of ballet technique; we will then focus on solos, duos and small group numbers for the showcase performance. Music and solos will be chosen based on the students enrolled in this special program so that they can receive individualized training and coaching for the performance, providing training to either move to or continue with the Maintstage Productions in the Fall.

From Spring 2024: This program is offered as a Spring alternative to Finding Nemo, Kids (for students who qualify) AND for students currently in Mean Girls, but NOT in Performing Company or HSA.
