ATTENDANCE
Attendance is extremely important as we add new material to the show each week. If you know your child has an unavoidable conflict, please let us know ASAP via email to Ms. Vanessa so that we can work the rehearsal schedule around that. We would hate to schedule your child's BIG number only to find out that they won't be attending that day. Each student and every rehearsal are important. The expectation is that they are working on lines and music at home always, but that in no way replaces what is done with the full cast in rehearsal.
GENERAL NTS INFO…..
DROP OFF / PICK UP
We are located at 106 Page Road, behind the Shell Station. We open the doors at your class / rehearsal time.
DROP OFF...Please ALWAYS PARK IN A PARKING SPACE, we do not have a hook up line. Once you have parked you may walk your child to the door, or they may walk themselves if you feel they are capable and safe.
PICK UP...Please ALWAYS PARK IN A PARKING SPACE, we do not have a hook up line. Once you have parked you may meet your child on the front porch. We do not want children running into a dark parking lot to meet parents. Older students may walk to their cars, but most students will need a parent to meet them on the porch.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR DRESS REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES IN APRIL:
Students should come to ALL rehearsals at Julia Green in their Base Layer (see below) and hair and make up.
We will talk more about hairstyles (as there are SO many fun WHO styles) closer to the date of the performance! Please go ahead and start ordering and gathering these items now, as they are mandatory for all staging reh, dress reh and performances.
Ladies:
BASE LAYER = Capezio Light Suntan Tights and a Suntan Leotard.
You can purchase these on Amazon or at Spell’s across the street from St. Thomas Hospital on Harding Road.
We know deliver times are uncertain, please plan ahead and be SURE your child has these by dress rehearsal! Black or tan jazz shoes.
Everyone should arrive for staging, dress rehearsal and performances in their Base Layer and hair and make up. They should wear a button down or zip up shirt or jacket over their Base Layer. The Base Layer is an undergarment and should not be worn alone without something over it.
NO jewelry or Nail Polish, Hair Bands should be the color of their hair, or neutral..no pink, green, etc…
HAIR: Should be slicked back into a neat hairstyle. 2 high ponytails, 2 braids, 1 ponytail or bun, but NO whispies. I would love to see some FUN WHO styles for the Whos...if hair styles is in your tool box! :)
Starting with wet hair and using gel or a TON of hairspray will achieve the slicked back look, which everyone should have.
MAKE UP: Brown eyeshadow, bright blush, mascara and L’Oreal Red Lipstick (you can purchase this at Walgreens or Kroger).
Gentlemen: Tight fitting / compression short and shirt to wear under their costume. Below are links of ideas for compression shorts and shirts that work well.
UNDERSHIRT. SHORTS
We have communal dressing areas, so please be sure they have on “underclothes” that will fit under their costume. Black converse style shoe.
HAIR: Hair should be neatly slicked back with gel or other products.
MAKE UP: We will apply powder as needed.
