NTS will offer several types of programming throughout the Summer over the months of June, July and August. See full programming notes below!
13, Jr MUSIC TRACKS

AUDITIONS FOR HAMILTON Act 1 & 2 and 13, Jr, the Musical (for REGISTERED STUDENTS ONLY)

Please note that Summer Auditions are OPTIONAL. These Summer auditions are a way for us to get to know you before we get started, they are low pressure and we meet the kids where they are. 
Students who audition will be considered for larger speaking roles, students who do not audition will be placed in the ensemble.

If you are not available on May 10th or 11th, please email us a video audition to: vanessa@nashvilletheatreschool.com no later than Saturday, May 11th.

WHAT YOUR AUDITION SHOULD ENTAIL (in person and self tape)

1) Your name
2) What show(s) you are doing with NTS this Summer
3) 32 Measures of a Song, acapella (both in person and self tape).  You may sing something from the show.
4) Let us know what roles or songs you are interested in working on.  If you like to dance or sing or act or all three!  Anything else you would like to tell us about yourself!

JUNE
WEEK #1
June 3rd
9AM-12PM Pop Star Camp (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $225 / Ages 4-7
Wear your favorite pop star clothes and costumes and join us for a week of singing, dancing, make up, hair and crafts! Pop Star and Rock n’ Roll crafts with a short, informal performance each Friday at 11:45AM. We have students who participate in multiple weeks of Pop Star Camp, there will be new material each week.

12:30-4:30PM 13, Jr, the Musical (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $350 / Ages 8-18
Monday - Friday with 2 performances of the show on Friday evening.
In 13, Jr, Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast-paced, preteen New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. Surrounded by an array of simpleminded middle school students, he needs to establish his place in the popular pecking order.

We will hold auditions in May, then come in and learn the show in one week and present a full production with lights and costumes on Friday of that week.

WEEK #2
June 10th
9AM-12PM Disney Musicals Camp (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $225 / Ages 4-7
Wear your favorite Disney musical costumes or clothes and join us for a week of singing, dancing from your favorite Disney Movies / Musicals…including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Coco, Encanto and more! We will sing and dance and have an informal performance each Friday at 11:45AM.

12:30-4:30PM The HIGHLIGHTS of Hamilton Act 1! (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $350 / Ages 7-18
Monday - Friday with 2 performances on Friday evening. Join us for a week of your favorite Hamilton songs and choreography from Act 1! We will hold auditions in May and come in and learn the 30 minute HIGHLIGHTS of Hamilton in one week and present a full production with lights and costumes on Friday of that week.

WEEK #3
June 17th
9AM-12PM Pop Star Camp (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $225 / Ages 4-7
Wear your favorite pop star clothes and costumes and join us for a week of singing, dancing, make up, hair and crafts! June 24th
9AM-12PM Jr Singer / Songwriter Camp (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $225 / Ages 4-7
Find your inner Taylor Swift and Chris Stapleton here at NTS! Miss Olivia and Miss Marlee are published songwriters ready to bring your child’s words and music to life. Come explore music, instruments and writing with an informal performance on Friday at 11:45AM.

12:30-4:30 The HIGHLIGHTS of Hamilton Act 2! (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $350 / Ages 7-18

Week #1
July 15th

Tuition: $200 / Ages 4-7

Pop Star and Rock n’ Roll crafts with a short, informal performance on Thursday at 11:45AM. We have students who participate in multiple weeks of Pop Star Camp, there will be new material each week.

12:30-4PM Acting / Improv (Monday - Thursday) with Miss Ella and Miss Emily
Tuition: $275 / Ages 8-18
Spend a week working on your Acting chops and Improv. We will focus on an array of fun and creative acting games to sharpen your Improv skills, plus scene work and monologues….this is always a fun and creative week to explore all aspects of acting.

Week #2
July 22nd
9AM-12PM Pop Star Camp (Monday - Friday)
Tuition: $225 / Ages 4-7
Wear your favorite pop star clothes and costumes and join us for a week of singing, dancing, make up, hair and crafts! Pop Star and Rock n’ Roll crafts with a short, informal performance on Thursday at 11:45AM. We have students who participate in multiple weeks of Pop Star Camp, there will be new material each week.

12:30-4PM Musical Theatre Dance (Monday - Thursday)
Tuition: $275 / Ages 8-18 (with previous dance experience / some ballet required)
This week is for students with dance experience looking for additional technique and training during the Summer. We will focus on ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre dance.

Week #3
July 29th
9AM-12PM Disney Musicals Camp (Monday - Thursday)
Tuition: $200 / Ages 4-7
Wear your favorite Disney musical costumes or clothes and join us for a week of singing, dancing from your favorite Disney Movies / Musicals…including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Coco, Encanto and more! We will sing and dance, make Disney snacks and crafts and have an informal performance each Thursday at 11:45AM.

Week #4
August 5th

More information will be forthcoming regarding the audition workshops. We will hold (2) 2 day audition workshops for both our Academy Division Show and our Mainstage Production.

Monday, August 12th FALL CLASSES BEGIN

Summer Cancellation Policy
If you cancel prior to May 1, 2024, you will receive a full refund of your payment to the original payment method, less a $50 processing fee for each session canceled.

If you cancel between May 1, 2024 and up to seven (7) business days prior to your camp start date, you will receive a 100% credit for each session purchased, less a $25 processing fee for each session canceled, usable for any NTS offering (except Private Voice) through May 31st, 2025.

No credit or refunds will be provided if you cancel within seven (7) business days of your session start date.
