FALL CLASSES / REHEARSALS will begin on Monday, August 11th.
Aristocats, Annie and Beetlejuice will conclude with their performances.
Dance classes will run through Thursday, December 19th.

FALL REGISTRATION:
You will be required to pay your first month’s tuition at the time of registration, opening June 2nd, at 10AM. There is a $65 registration fee per family, payable once a year.

Cancellation Policy:  If you need to cancel your registration for a production, you may do so with 30 days notice, until October 1st.  After October 1st, you will be required to finish payment for the semester. All classes and productions require a 30 day notice for cancellation.

CLASS OFFERINGS

1) Preschool Division
Musical Theatre for Preschoolers (Ages 4-5)
Tuition: $70 / Month
NTS Preschool is a class that meets once per week for 45 minutes, led by Miss Olivia for children Ages 4-5 (Age 3 IF fully potty trained) IN PRESCHOOL.   This class is an introduction to Musical theatre through creative song, movement and acting.  There is an informal performance in the Lynette Mason Gregg Black Box Theatre at NTS at the end of each semester.

2) NTS Academy Division (Aristocats, Kids and Annie, Kids)

Aristocats, Kids (Acats, Kids)
Ages 5-7 / New Students
(Preferably enrolled in Kindergarten / Elementary School)
Tuition: $135 / month (Aug - Dec)
There are 2 casts to choose from:
Monday 4-5:30PM Rehearsal 
Tuesday 4-5:30PM Rehearsal

All Aristocats, Kids performances will take place in late November in the LMG Black Box Theatre at NTS. Please see the Aristocats, Kids page for specific dates and times.

Auditions for Acats, Kids will take place during their rehearsal time during the 2nd week of rehearsal.  These auditions are optional and on a very basic level, we meet the kids where they are. 

Annie, Kids
Ages 7-13 / Returning Students or New Students over the age of 7
Tuition: $182**** / month over 4 months (Aug - Nov)
*****. Please note the change in tuition TIMING. The total cost to participate in an Academy Division production is $725.00, THIS IS NOT A CHANGE****

Historically the $725.00 has been charged over 5 months. Due to the availability of Julia Green in the Spring we need to adjust our tuition and rehearsal schedule. The total cost and number of hours the kids will rehearse will stay the same, it will just be charged over 4 months instead of 5.

To ensure the same amount of rehearsal hours, we will add 2 Saturday rehearsals each semester if we need to, to ensure that we have the same amount of rehearsal hours as past semesters.

There are 3 casts of Annie, Kids to choose from
Tuesday Cast 5:45-7:15PM
Wednesday Cast 4:30-6PM
Thursday Cast 4-5:30PM

Optional Auditions for Annie, Kids will be held during their rehearsal time in the second week of rehearsal.  The material for their audition will be on the Annie, Kids page on this website.

IMPORTANT DATES for the ‘25-’26 Season
Monday December 1st - Monday December 8th Annie, Kids Tech / Production Week (please see Annie, Kids page for specific dates and times for each cast).
Spring Production (TBA) Audition Prep and Auditions will take place in December right after the Fall Production, we will then break for the Winter Holiday on December 19th, **PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SPRING SEMESTER WILL START EARLIER THAN IN YEARS PAST**

Spring Production Tech Week Performances:
Monday March 2nd - Friday March 6th

ANNIE, KIDS SUMMER AUDITION WORKSHOPS:
Registration will open on July 1st
Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 5th at NTS
12:30-2:30 Workshop Group 1
2:30-4:30 Workshop Group 2
(Students are encouraged to attend both days, but choose Group 1 or 2 based on the time that works best for you)
Tuition: $65
We will review audition technique, work on the audition song in addition to doing a mock audition. Students will receive their scripts and we will work on character development and cold readings.

3) MAINSTAGE MUSICAL / Beetlejuice, Jr
NTS MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION (Ages 11-18 with Previous Experience)
2025 Production /  Beetlejuice, Jr

The NTS Mainstage production is an advanced level production that begins auditions and rehearsals in August and will conclude with performances Thursday, Jan 29th - Saturday, Jan 31st, 2026.

This cast rehearses on Mondays from 5:45-8PM and some Wednesdays from 6-8.

Students should be prepared to make a time commitment for the full rehearsal period.  Tech week is MANDATORY and there will be NO approved conflicts during tech week.  

AUDITIONS: August 11th, 13th, 16th

FOR THE AUDITION:
Students will bring in 1 minute of a contemporary Broadway Show tune.  Sheet music should be marked and in the correct key for the accompanist.  They will be asked to read from the script (script provided) and attend a dance call on Saturday, August 16th.

AUDITION WORKSHOPS:
Registration will open on July 1st
Wed, August 6th and Thurs, August 7th 12:30-3:30 at NTS (Students are encouraged to attend both days)
Tuition: $75
Students will work with an accompanist and should bring in their sheet music in a binder. Music can be purchased at www.musicnotes.com. We can also assist students with choosing a song and obtaining sheet music if they need that help. Students will receive their scripts and we will also work on character development and cold readings

REHEARSAL TIMELINE / SCHEDULE:

TUITION:
$225/ month (Tuition is spread over 7 months August - February)

4) DANCE CLASSES
It is recommended that students who plan on progressing to the Mainstage Musical or Performing Company take a dance class to prepare for the next level of technique and choreography.

Class placement: If you are a current NTS Dance Student, Miss Emily will contact you with your dance placement for the ‘25-’26 season. Dance placements are FLUID and can change at the semester mark based on progress. If a student is on the cusp of a level, we will place them in the lower level and invite them to enrich in the higher level (at no additional cost) as they prepare to move up.
If you are NEW NTS Dance student, please register for the class that best fits your ballet technique experience and we will make assessments the first week of classes. You should base your ballet technique experience on current and consecutive years. 2 years of ballet at the age of 4 for a current 11 year old should not be considered. Tuition: $100 / month

Thursday 5:30-6:30PM - NTS Dance Fundamentals
This class is for students with less than 2 years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $80 / month

Thursday 6:30-7:30PM - NTS Intermediate Dance
This class is for students with more than 2 years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $80 / month

Thursday 7:30-8:45PM - NTS Int / Adv Dance
This class is for students with 3 or more years of ballet technique.
Tuition: $100 / month
